Spinning/Weaving at Hickory Nut Gap Farm

Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Fairview  has invited us to demo at their fall festival one day in September and one in October. They would like both spinners and weavers, so if you are a weaver with a portable loom who would like to demo, or a spinner please let me (Fran Wilson) know via email. The date for the September demo is Sunday, Sept. 1, and a date hasn't be announced for October yet. Spinners, electricity is not convenient to where we will be demo'ing, so if your e-spinner doesn't have a battery pack, bring a wheel or spindle instead. I have visited the site a couple of times, and we will be set up in the big barn area, with easy access from the parking lot.
