After our business meeting and Show and Tell, long time member Mikkel Hansen, who will turn 95 on October 5, will talk about his weaving start and experiences along the way. We’ll have a luncheon provided by the Guild, including birthday cake for Mikkel. And after lunch we’ll break into interest groups—
Webmaster Eileen Hallman will assist with logging in and updating profiles. Also, now that we have the feature of spotlighting members when viewing our directory, more photos included in profiles would be enjoyable. So, if you’d like to include a photo, bring one on your phone or we can snap one for you. For all these activities, you’ll need to have your login email and password, if known. You can use your phone for all these activities.
Ruth Howe will be heading up a group to work on the Fiber Forum pins.
Knitting group—Bring along a project to work on and chat. Cheryl Motheral-Lynn will be demonstrating her sock knitting machine.
Spinning group—Bring your wheel and enjoy one another’s company while spinning. And if you ever wanted to try an electric spinner, Mary Miller will be bringing hers for you to try.
