Robin P. Croskery Howard is an objects conservator with over ten years of experience. She is a graduate of East Carolina University. Prior to opening her own conservation practice, Happy Narwhal, she worked for the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Seminole Indian Museum and the North Carolina Museum of History. She has extensive knowledge of the care of American historical and southeastern Native American artifacts. Robin is the author of the chapter “Mixed Media and Composite Objects” from Basic Condition Reporting: A Handbook Fifth Edition, and has lectured extensively on the creation and use of custom housing as a part of a holistic look at conservation.
